The World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) Foundation and Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Dubai Chamber) unveiled on Tuesday at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur details of the upcoming 10th WIEF which will be held in Dubai on Oct. 28- 30, 2014 at the Madinat Jumeirah Conference Centre.

Abu Dhabi-listed Islamic insurer National Takaful Co (Watania) said UAE regulators had approved the sale of 60.53% of the firm to MB UAE Investments and an affiliate of MB.

The UAE market regulator has cleared the purchase of a combined 60.53 per cent stake in Abu Dhabi-based National Takaful Co by Al Madina Takaful Co and a subsidiary of MB Holding Co.

Al Madina Insurance Company SAOG, the first Takaful provider in Oman, received approval from Securities and Commodities Authority, Abu Dhabi to buy 9.53 per cent shares of National Takaful Company (Watania).
