Abu Dhabi's stock market index rebounded in early trade on Monday

Shares favoured by foreign funds in Dubai and Qatar may come under selling pressure

Shares of three of Abu Dhabi's top lenders pulled back on Sun after the banks denied they were in merger talks, while Saudi shares were hit by profit taking.

Abu Dhabi's Union National Bank (UNB) said on Sunday it was not in any merger talks.
